Each group chat is comprised of up to 20 teenagers, led by 1 or 2 trained facilitators. In this environment, you can freely explore your identity, seek guidance on coming out and relationships, find solace in discussing issues with friends and family or dealing with bullying, and celebrate your personal victories amidst a supportive community.
The impact of these group chats is evident, with an impressive 88% of participants reporting that they have found assistance in navigating their struggles. Furthermore, 79% have expressed that these sessions have helped alleviate feelings of loneliness, highlighting the profound sense of belonging fostered within the community. Additionally, an overwhelming 98% have shared that they feel secure in opening up about their personal challenges within their respective group chats.
Beyond receiving support, participants also have the opportunity to become facilitators themselves, gaining valuable community service hours after actively engaging in the group for a minimum of 2 weeks. This further empowers teens to take an active role in supporting their peers while developing their own leadership skills.
